AUCKLAND CATTLE, &c. At Rcmnera (May 13) store cattle were slightly better worth ; fat cattle were in average number, and 120 were sold ; the; prices for good quality advanced from last: week from 3s to 4s the 100 lbs; wellfattened cattle brought from 24s to 28s the 100 lbs ; secondary quality wore at low value; sheep were in moderate supply, and not as good quality as last week ; ruling price 2RI per lb ; well-bred pigs and fat'stores were in demand, at high rates, and a number of heavy pigs from the East Coast, at moderate values, CORN. Timam, loth. The Stocks of wheat for direct Home shipment are rapidly increasing, and although three or four large vessels arc daily expected, they will be quite unable to meet the demand for freight. 'I be grain market is becoming, weaker, and 3s for prime milling wheat is-, the highest quotation obtainable. Oats are nominally at Is,, but no transactions arc taking place, and producers arc at their wits’ ends wbal to do with the enormous stocks accumulated in this district.
