Cowem reports having held a successful sale of town lands at Havyera, on Saturday lost. Forty-eight sections in Block 13, averaging less than an eighth of an acre, realised over £2,100, or nearly £4OO per acre. One section in' Block 11, fronting High-street, containing about 16 perches, fetched £504, Three sections in Normanby, well situated, realised £45, £6O, and £75 respectively.
