SNOW IN SEPTEMBER

PAHIATUA 1902. Mrs J. D. Wilson advises us that when looking over some old photographs recently, she came across one of her old home in Victoria Street, and she has handed it on to us, with the comment that although we have had some cold weather lately, it has certainly been much colder in Pahiatua in other years. The photograph v Inch was taker, on September 26th, 1902, shows the roof, garden and paths to be well coated with snow, while trees ana the lull at the back indicate that a heavy fall had been experienced.
