RIFLE SHOOTING A return homo and home match between Balia nee and Mangatainoka took placv at Mangatainoka. ST. MARK’S GUILD. A number of members wore absent fioin the August meeting, Mrs Ross resident, being in the chair. Two letters of thanks bad boon received fiom Ptes. K. lVarce and J. Rusden. SCHOOL DANCE On Thursday night the Library Hall, was thronged with children, all in fancy dross? the occasion lieing tin- school daneo. No effort hqd boon spared by the teachers ;tid committee to make the dance an outstanding success. The proceedings opened w’th the ! graud march, providing many varied characterisations admirably carrier! j out. One of the items by the primers . was so popular that an encore wa* j demanded.
