The Eighth Army has scarcely fired a shot since the Nuw Year began, reports the Daily Express’s correspondent with the armoured forces at Wadi Elchebir. Tlie only activity has been patrol versus patrol. The Eighth Army is being regrouped as the more heavy arms roll constantly forward and th© advanced units probe Rommel's rearguard at Zemzem. The Exchange Telegraph Company’s correspondent with the forward troops says the R.*\.F. routs German raiders when they attempt to reach the battle area. All th small places through which we pass ere not, only evacuated but are n mass of ruins.
