A TENT ARISES
AND CHILDREN SPECULATE. The pitching of a tent always arouses childish curiosity and the largest in expectations. When a circle of ]>egs were driven between Mr A. S. Madsen’s store and Harrison’s butchery yesterday afternoon. the very young conjured up visions oi the big top, the sawdust ring and spangles in the greatest show on earth, but older boys drew attention to the smallness of the ring. Perhaps it would be a merry-go-round. they thought Better still, it would stay longer. All youthful hopes were dashed when one of the strangers was asked when he would get going. “Sunday,” he replied. It is an evangelical mission tent.
