AIR ACTION PREDOMINATES. (Received 11.20 a.m.). (British Official Wireless). RUGBY, December 31. Allied Force Headquarters states that one of our forward patrols engaged a small enemy detachment, inflicting casualties and taking some prisoners, and our artillery shelled enemy positions in the Baidof area. Roads leading from Tunis were bombed and machine-gunned bv our aircraft on Sunday night. One enemy fighter was shot down by a patrolling fighter yesterday. Bombers attacked Lusa and other objectives, but none of our aircraft is missing.
