BOMBS ON BANGKOK
CITY SUFFERS HEAVY DAMAGE. * (British Official Wireless). RUGBY, December 28. . A New Delhi communique states: “About midnight on Sunday a considerable force of our heavy bombers were over Bangkok, in Siam, where various targets were effectively bombed. “A large arsenal and powder factory north of the city was hit. The Bangkok aerodrome, one of the most important fields in the occupied countries, was successfully attacked . “At the same time the naval dock area of the city was hit with heavy bombs which caused damaging fires. “None of our aircraft is missing.”
