KINDERGARTEN’S FINE PERFORMANCE The outstanding feature of the racing on Boxing Day was the great performance of the champion Kindergarten in winning the Auckland Cup with the record weight of 10.2Not only did he win, but be outclassed the field. The Great Northern Foal Stakes was won by Olga's Pal. and the stable r.f F. Smith put ui* a record in the Railway, filling all three places, the winner being Beau Vaals. The Christmas Handicap was also won by F. Smith with Representative. and he also won the Queen’s Plate with still another three-year-old, T/ord Chancellor. At Manawatu the Ormond colours were carried to victory in the double by Yogi and Kol Rngi, and at Taranaki the Christmas Handicap was won by Full Hand. There was sensational finish t<> the Dunedin Cup, The Raker and Eulogist deadheating only a head in front of tho New Zealand Cup winner. Royal Lancer.
