ALL-OUT AIR OFFENSIVE
AMERICAN AIR FORCE PREPARES. (British Official Wireless.) , RUGBY, Dec. 2* “The American Air Force in. Britain will soon be ready to undertake an all-out air offensive,” stated Ma-jor-General Henry F. Miller, who lias been appointed Commanding General of the United States Army Air Force Service Command. Major-General Miller said that his command dealt with supplies, equipment, maintaining repairs, and salvage, adding: “Our real mission is to get ready for an all-out offensive against th© Axis, aaid I can assure you that we will be, ready to accomplish. this mission within a very brief period. “Within the past six months, every element of this command has been, working at top speed to complete those 1 behind the line services’ with a view to a sustained a.ir offensive,” hie said. Asked if any of the “battle wa gons” mentioned by th© Chief of the United States Army Air Iforcos, General Arnold, had reached Britain. Major-General Miller said: “They will be over. Our newer type of com- . bat aircraft will come here as soon as it can he turned out.’
