GERMANS SUIT'ER IN MIDDLE DON. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Oopyri ght LONDON, Dec. 23. The latest information from Russia is that the German, dead in. the great new Middle Don offensive now total over 30,000 with more than 20,000 prisoners. It is now revealed that the important fortified town mentioned in the latest Russian communique as being captured, is Ramensky, which is 100 miles northwest of Millerovo, and is not the town of a similar name 40 miles south of Millerovo as previously reported. Correspondents in Russia have flashed the news to London that Russian tank columns have smashed through the fortified belt of the German lines in tile Middle Don area, and followed by infantry. are streaming across the o| xm country.
