A Japanese plane was destroyed when attempting to; take off. Runways, barracks . and shops were hit and a large hangar housing reserve aircraft is believed to liav© been demolished. “A strong force of B 25 bombers and P 40 fighters attacked Tienho aerodrome on Wednesday in ore oi our most successful missions. L'wo hangars received direct hits and several adjacent hangars were probably levelled. The headquarters officers' barracks and runways were damaged and oil storage tanks set on fire. Seven to ten Japanese planes wer© destroyed on the ground. One Japanese bomber ©lashed in attempting to take off- The enemy attemped one interception but no contact was made and their ack-ack was ineffective. All our planes returned safely from all tiles© missions. “In a retaliatory night raid near Kkeilin oil November 23 three P 40’s intercepted an unknown number of enemy aircraft, destroying one bomber and on© Zero, with hits on another bomber. We lost one P 40. the pilot of which is reported safe.
