STATEMENT FOR MAY, 1942, Estates of a valu© of £542,372 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of May 1942. The total value of the ©states and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on the 31st March, 1942, was £64,685,685, and the new business for th© two months ended 31st May was £935,816. Grants of administration made by th© Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 198 for the month. During the moflth 1.382 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of t©stators and lodged for safe custody and 403 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in th© Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 115,374.
