AKITIO DOG TRIAL CLUB
APPOINTMENT OF STEWARDS.
At a recent meeting ol the Akltio Dog Trial Club, the following stewards were appointed : Ground steward. Mr K. H. Moech; sheep steward. Mr T. G. Herbert; call steward, Air J. AfeDonald; sheep guessng, Mr Geo. Barker; time-keeper, Air D. IX Riddell; judge, Mr Hay (Masterton) ; joint secretaries, Messrs S. F. Herbert and B. Robertson. A reminder is given of the three days* trials, which begin next Monday, 27th inst. 'l'he- club have arranged to have a telephone installed and a ladies’ committee has agreed to attend to the catering arrangements. The course is in good order, and given reasonable weather, the chib anticipate a record number of entries.
