AMERICA’S WING-BLOWN SOILS
Prairie States Forestry project by the forest Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture the reclamation of the wind-blown soils of the American plains by means of shelter belts, nearly 7000 miles of these belts have been 'planted mi nearly 14.000 farms and using nn about 85 million trees. The scheme is proving an outstanding success.
