ESCAPEE SENTENCED
THREE MONTHS’ GAOL. Electric Telegraph—Press Association GRE\ MOUTH, February 14. In the Magistrates’ Court" George Albert Wilson, aged 27, labourer, pleaded guilty to a charge of being an incorrigible rogue in that he escaped from the Grey mouth gaol on January 10. He was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment imposed in Christchurch last week for theft. W ilson was remanded to appear m Auckland on February 21 on a charge °f breaking and entering a shop in Huntly and stealing clothing to the value of £<o. Detective-Sergeant Knight said that other charges were p< nding against accused in Auckland.
