TRIBUTE TO SECRETARY. A rather graceful compliment and tribute was paid to the secretary of the Pahiatua A. and P. Association by Air J. D. Piper, who by tho way was one of the principal movers in the establishment of the present local A. and P. Show, in a letter to the secretary on Show Day: “Dear Air Walsh, ] resigned last year, but as you are still there as secretary I shall accompany you to the last ‘lap’.” With the missive was a cheque tor one jH'und.
