SALE REALISATIONS. Realisations at the Pahiatua Mart at a recent sale were as follows: Poultry: R.I. hens, from Is lOd 6cl; young cockerels, Is to Is 6d; W.L. roosters, from Is 6d to 2s 3d; two-year old W.L. hens, 2s lOd ; young ducks, 3s to 3s 7d ; W.L. pullets, 5s to 5s 9d. Fruit: Cooking apples, 3s to 4s case eating apples, 2s 6d case; nectarines, 5s to 6s case; peaches, 3s 6d to os; case; plums, 2s 6d to 4s case ; peas, Is 6d to 2s peck; new potatoes, 11s to 13s cwt; tomatoes, 3s 6d to os case.
Pigs: Weaners averaged 15s at Tuesday’s sale.
