ST, PETER'S LADIES GUILD
THE FINAL MEETING. The Ladies’ Guild held their final meeting for the year on Tuesday. There was a large attendance of members. After the business of the afternoon was completed, the president (Mrs G. Godfrey Taylor) took the opportunity of saying farewell to Mrs G. L. Chatwin and on behalf of the members, presented her with a suitable gift and bouquet in appreciation of her services' as hon. treasurer. Mrs Chatwin suitably replied. A small presentation was also made to Mrs Noble, who is leaving the district. During _ the afternoon an amusing competition was held, Mrs Austin proving the winner. A dainty .afternoon tea was then handed round. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames G. G. Taylor and V. J. Scott.
