AT DANNEVIRKE SALE Electric Telegraph—Press Association DANNEVIRKE, June 23. A big yarding of 7000 sheep, including several station drafts, came forward at the Dannevirke stock sale. There was a, good sale and a total clearance of sheep. Some pens of run cattle were yarded the demand being fair. Two-tooth ewes brought 30s to 34s Ll ; I'oui and six-tooth ewes 29s to 30s ; four and five-year ewes 25s 6d to 28s 7d ; five-year ewes 22s to 255: two-tooth wethers 21s c>d to 235; ewe lambs 2<)s to 255; wether lambs 14s to 16s; fat ewes 16s 6d to 18s 4il ; fat wethers 22s to 255; fat lambs 16s fid to 18s fid. Fat P A cows realised £5 to £7; Jersey heifers £3 7s fid to £5 7s fill; Jersey cows £3 7s fid to £5; fat P.A. bullocks £7 2s to £9; P.A. weaner steers £2 9s to £4 Is; P.A. weaner heifers 22s fid to £2 13s ; dairy cow s, £3 10s to £6; store cows £2 3s to £3 14s. PIGS AND POULTRY Weather conditions affected the yarding of pigs at the Dannevirke mart. A small yarding oi pigs and a good yarding of poultry came forward. Small weaners made 4s to 7s; medium 8s to 12s; best to lfis.
8.0. hens brought 2s fid to 3s Id ; W.L. Is fid to 2s 9d: geese 2s fid to 3s fid; purebred W.L. cockerels 5s 9d to 7s; ducks 2s fid.
