W.D.F.U. FUNCTION
HELD AT MRS J. D. PIPER’S RESIDENCE. A very enjoyable afternoon was held at the home of Mrs J. D. Riper on Thursday afternoon, proceeds going towards the funds of the W.D F.U. Two competitions were held the winners being Mrs Piper and Mrs M Howat. After a dainty alteniooii tea had been served the opportunity was taken to piesent Mrs Piper with a few shrubs for her garden and to wish her many happy returns of the day. Those present were Mesdames Day, Gibson, klremner .Callender. Ebbett, Piper, Fulton, E. Olsen, W. Olsen, F. C Ellmers, Sutton. Nankivell. M. Howat, A. H. Ellmers, Christensen, Ussher, Ilowell, Adams, Misses Gibson (2), N Olsen, and Piper.
