£*33,529 AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN THAT it is the intention of tEi* Akitio Comity Council to make at an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Pongaroa, on MONDAY. the llth day of Juiv 1938, a GENERAL RATE OF TWO 1 ENCE THREE FARTHINGS (2id) in the pound on the Unimproved Value of all the rateable property o:l the Valuation Lists of the several Ridings *f the Akitio County for the period beginning on the Ist day of April 1938 ami ending on the 31st day of March 1939, due and payable in one sum at the office of the Akitio County Council, Pongaroa on the 14th day of August, 1938. ALSO under the provisions of '‘The Local Bodies Loans Act 1926’’ to collect so much as is required of each of the annual recurring Special Rates levied on the Unimproved Value of all the rateable pioperty within the County to provide the annual charges on such loans raised, such special rates being:—A Conversion Consolidated Special Rate of One penny (Id) in the pound, a Bridge Rate of One ninth of a penny (l-£)tli) in the pound, a Metalling Loan (1936) Special Rate of One twentythird o‘ a penny (l-23rd) in the pound and a Mi tailing Loan (1938) Special Rate of One twentytliird of a penny (l-23rd) in the pound, all being due and payable n one sum at the office of the Akitio County Council, Pongaroa on the 14th day of August 1938. ALSO under the provisions of “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act 1926” tin make and levy a Hospital Mate of Three-fifths of a penny (7*-sths) in the pound on the Unimproved Value ot all the rateable property on the valuation lists of the several Ridings of the County for the period beginning on the Ist day oi April 1938 and ending on the 31 st day of March l()39, such rate being due and payable in one sum at thy office of the Akitio County Council, Pongaroa on the 14th day of August 1938 THE respective Valuation Rolls are now op* n for inspection during Office Hours.
