A car driven by Thomas Neill. Manunui. with John Jamieson, liunterville. and Thomas Ro|>er, Manunui. as passengers, got out of control while approaching Taumaruniii on the main road late yesterday afternoon The car shot across the road, colliding with a telegraph pole, and turned upside down. Mr Jamieson was taken I.<* hospital with severe injuries to his spine. Messrs Roper and Neil] were only slightly injured.
