WANGANUI WOOL SALE
PRICES SHOW MARKED INCREASE. Electric Telegraph—Press Association WANGANUI. This Day. Prices at the Wanganui final wool sale to-day were generally on a par with the Auckland salt* of last week. Tile average for crossbred and fleecy wools showed an advance from Id to compared with the Wanganui February sale. This rise was not noticeable in the finer range of wool. Jn all 11,000 bale's were- offered at the auction. Japan was back in the market and took a prominent part in tin- buying Both Bradford and the Continent bought freely. Good lambs’ wool sold well but short and inferior sorts were erratic and showed a. marked', decline on, the previous sale. Passings wen* few.
