FRUIT AND CONFECTIONERY SHOPS
A request that fruit and; confectionery shops in Canterbury should be licenced will be forwarded to the Government by the Canterbury Fruit Buyers Association. The meeting considered that genuine fruiterers should have “protection, against other businesses selling fruit as a sideline, and who were not legitimate fruiterers.
