TOURING BY TAXI.
AUCKLANDERS IN ENGLAND. United Press Assn.-—By Electric Telegraph—Copvright LONDON. August 27. Two Aucklanders on holiday, Mr and Mrs George Runciman. told a London taxi-driver to drive round tho town. Now, after a week, they are gathering seashells at John o’ Groats, and the taximeter is still ticking, while Scots gaze in amazement. Air Runciman, after touring England by taxi, decided to see John o' Groats, whence bis grandmother emigrated. The travellers covered 1000 miles. The taxi-driver admits that he is homesick.
