ONE WICKET WIN. FOR KENTISH XI. (Received 12.30 p.m.) (From the Special Correspondent United Press Association with, the Team). LONDON, August 27. New Zealand made a grand fighc when it seemed certain that they would be beaten easily. When, Kent had 109 lor two wickets at lunch the match seemed as good as over. New Zealand, with, brilliant bowling and fine fielding, captured seven wickets in an hour. Roberts bowled ais accurately and venomously as he has ever done in England and Cowie took his hundredth wicket for the tour. Fourteen runs were required when the last two batsmen became associated and New Zealand might easily have won A ball from Cowie struck the stumps but the bails miraculously remained in position.
