The? subordinate position oi Rugby in Western Australia combined with the lake landing of the Springboks intensified the debut of the visitors as a Practice exhibition game. There sufficient opposition, however, zo show the visitors’ belief in fast, open play, giving the backs the half instead ol seeking touch and trusting to massive forward work. With the players obviously shipstiff it was difficult to judge their real strength but they are undoubtedly fast oil attack and strong oil defence.
