STRUCK BY CAR.
PETONE BOY KILLED. Alattliew Gough, aged eight, sou of Air and Mrs Matthew Gough, 105 Nelson Street, Petone, was killed when he was knocked down on the Hutt Road at the corner of Petone Avenue at 3.20 p.m. yesterday by a motor-car. The accident happened near the northern exit oi Petone West School, at which the boy was a pupil. Running <>ut on to the road he was struck by the car. Hu suffered severe internal injuries aud died almost immediately. An inquest is to lie held.
