I SEASON NOW CLOSED. | KONINI BUSH CHAMPION'S. The first ol the senior game s played last evening resulted in Warataha beating Rovers by 7—4 This put these teams level for runners-up in the championship. After a little discussion the two teams decided to play another five minutes each way, the ultimate winners to hold the runners-up cup. After tlie first 5 minutes they were even and at the cal? of time Wiratuhs had gained one more goal thus giving them the cup by 3 goals to 2. Athletic defaulted to Konini, which makes the latter the championship winners of 1936. Konini will thus hold the Smith Shield and the Russell Yankee Tournament cup. These, as well as all junior cups will be presented at the annual baU in the Drill Hall cn Wednesday. October 21st. Mr G. O. C.
