On the outward trip from "Wei ling tun to Sydney via Auckland there were 12' calls and on the return journey from. Sydney to Auckland 26 conversations took place of which 20 originated from the “Awatea’’ and five from New Zealand subscribers. In every case speech was reported to be excellent.
