ARCHBISHOP'S PROMISE.

On the occa.sion of the lOOth birthday of Mr Rhiliip de Quesne, of Hamilton, on Wednesday, October 7, a promise given bv Archbishop Averill 10 years age will be fulfilled. His Grace’s birthday is on the same day, when lie will be 71. Ton years ago his Grace promised Mr le Quesne if he readied the age of 100 he would have tea with him. Archbishop Aver ill stated to-day that he would fulfil his promise.
