ADDIS ABABA ISOLATED.
ONE MONTH’S FOOD SUPPLIES.
SAYS UNIMPEACHABLE FRENCH REPORT.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 16. The News-Chronicle gives prominence to its Paris correspondent’s message quoting an “unimpeachable French official authority’’ for the statement that the Italian garrison in Addis Ababa is cut off from communication with the world with only a month’s supplies. No supply train has got through from Djibouti since July 6 owing to Abyssinian bands cutting the railway line. Immediately repairs are effected in one place the line is cut in another, once within 24 miles of Addis Ababa. Nearly a hundred Italians have been killed so far defending the line. Rains have made the roads impassable and aeroplanes are unable to find landing places. Marshal Graziani is reported to be ruthlessly massacreing all captured Abyssinians.
