ALLEGED THEFT.
TELLER BEFORE COURT. Electric Telegraph—Pi ess Association WANGANUI, June 16. M a mice Edward Alexander, bank teller of Mangaweka, aged 32, who was charged yesterday at Mangaweka with the theft of L7S(M), the property cf the Bank of New Zealand. appeared on remand this morning before Mr J. H. Sal men, S.M., and was further remanded to Taibape on June 19th. Mr W. C. Bain bridge* asked for bail, stating that the whole of the money had been, handed back by accused. The police offered, no objections and the Magistrate said that in the eii‘euinstances ho would lix it at self £2OO, and a similar surety. Accused is to report, .daily to the police at Mangaweka. «.*'
