PENSIONERS PAY DAY.
FIXED FOR NEXT MONDAY. Electric Telegraph:—Press Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. The paying-out day of the State pensions falls this month on Tues day, June 23 which being King’s Birthday is a public holiday. The Minister of Pensions (Hon. W. E. Parry) stated to-night that arrangements had been made for State pensioners to receive the amounts to which they were entitled on Monday, June 22. “This concession, made possible by the-pen. slims authorities,” said Mr Parry, “will be. I know, warmly appreciated by pensioners.’’
