Mrs Filkington, of Mr ngata inoka. was admitted to hospital last week and is now a little better. Mr J. Windle, o 7 Ballance, is still an inmate of the Public Hospital and is making slow progress. Mr D. Taggart, Mangatainoka. is an inmate of the Public Hospital, llis condition is much the same as when admitted. Mrs L. J Heaves, of Mangamutu, is at present an inmate of Tararua Private Hospital where she underwent an operation. Matron Berry, who returned to Pali iatua. last week, spent a wonderful holiday in the south. She. motored to Invercargill and attended the Mabel Bush School Jubilee and met a number of old friends there. Mr Morton Lawson, of Mangamu. ire, was admitted to the Public Hospital this week for an operation, on an old war wound on his leg The operation was successful and jT piece of shrapnel was removed
