WORK ON RACECOURSE : UILDIN< - At flu* special meeting oi the Pahiatua Racing Club held last evening. the sub-committce appointed to investivate damage to the main grandstand caused by tlie recent gale, roported to the effect that thov had called in Mr R. Lee. oi Masterton, architect, to report on the general condition of the building. Alter a lengthy dismission ol the proposals submitted by Mr Lee. the club decided that immediate repairs should be effected t«> the grandstand.
