BOTH MARKETS FIRMER. BUTTER”\T 975. The London butter market was firmer last week, with a further slight rise in prices, New Zealand finest salted closing firm at 96s to 975. Th© New Zealand retail price remains unchanged at Is a lb, and Danish at Is 2d. Deliveries of New Zealand butter last week totalled 2224 tons, compared with 1932 tons far the previous week and 2927 tons a year ago. Australian deliveries were 2314 tons, against 2427 tons a year ago. The Imperial Economic Committee’s estimated stocks of all butters in store is 464,893 boxes, compared with 374.898 boxes on January 24 and 387,554 boxes a year ago. New Zealand stored butter amounts to 3143 tons, including 025 tons ex Port Alma, compared with 4082 tons for the previous week and 3941 tons a year ago. Australian butt tain store is 3972 tons, against 2957 tons a year ago.

Canadian deliveries were 3912 boxes compared with 5750 boxes a year now 119.759 boxes, against 113,499 boxes a year ago.
