WAR SICKNESS SPREADING?
TROUBLE IN ITALY. Ignited Press Assn.—ißy Electric Telegraph—Oopy right. LONDON, February 10. The News-Chronicle’s Paris correspondent says that anti-war demonstrations are increasing in Italy. Fifty persons, including women, were arrested at Liinina in, Aleksina when a crowd sot fire to the town hall yelling “Down with Alussolini ! Down with war!” Crowds demonstrated at Forli station whence troops were leaving for Abyssinia, women lying on the rails to prevent the departure of the troop trains. The police charged the rioters and injuries and arrests were numerous.
One hundred and fifty artillerymen departing rom Verona shouted “We want to gc> home!” The police suppressed popular demonstrations of sympathy with the soldiers.
