In view of the Pahiatua Cricket Club’s visit to Featherston this week-end. the following players are asked to attend nightly practices at the nets: —Irving. Wilson. Smyth C oniric . Wilton, Alarkwic-k Smith, II edgson. McKay. Ops, Galbally, Earraclougli, Uapet and Lawton. At last night's meeting of the executive! of the Pahiatua Boxing Club a motion of condolence was passed to Mr Geo. Oxley and family in their recent sad loss. In moving the motion Mr Walsh said that the late Airs Oxley had a sweet and kindly nature, very unselfish, inttnselv sympathetic, and always one of flie very first to respond to a call for assistance. The motion was carried m silence, members standing.
