DANNEVIRKE SHOW.
ON TUESDAY AM' WiEDNESI>AY. VEKY SATISFACTORY ENTRIES. All indications point to the Dannevirke A. and P. Show and the Kennel Club's exhibition, held in conjunction, to take place on Tues- \\ nes y nex at Dunnevirke being highly successful, as the entries are very satisfactory throughout. They aggregate as aga i nst 1755 last .\ear and this total will be considerably swelled when the post entries are received. Class will be stroi represented throughout, I here is a very substantial increase in the di.ee p classes, the entries totalling •339 (the most since 1932, which was a record year with 371'. Horses will also be a strong feature, despite a la l ling-off in the draught section, while increases are recorded in pigs, dogs, fleece wool and dairy produce. The actual number of dogs to be benched is 133 against 119 last year, and they come ifrom all parts of both islands. There has been heavy book- •' •••-•" of space for t r:a de exhibits- - motor-cars, machinery, etc.—and the display in this section should be the best for years, while there will be a big array of side-shows. That there will be an influx or visitors is foreshadowed by the big demand for accommodation Tuesday next will bo the chief judging day, while People’s Day” on Wednesday will contain all the attractions of the fair.
