FIELDING STOCK SALE.
PRICES FIRM ON SATURDAY. The Feilding stock sale, held on Saturday, witnessed a keen demand for store lambs and good sales for tlie available offering of breeding ewes. Fat sheep were in short supply with late rates fully maintained. The quotations were as follow: Fat sheep: Ewes, 13s, 14s, 15s ; maiden ewes, 22s 7d ; lambs, 22s 7d ; wethers, 235. Store sheep: Wether lambs, 14s 4d, 15s 4d, 16s 2d, lbs 9d to 18s 6d ; ewe Jambs, 14s -6d, 17s 6d, 18s 3d, 19s 9d, 20s Id. 20s 6d, 21s 4d, 21s Pd ; woolly wether lambs, 18s, 18s 8d to 20s Id; b.f. lambs, 11s Id, 11s 9d, 14s 6d, 14s Bd, 17s 4d, 17s 7d to 18s 9d ; woolly ewe lambs, 7s 6d, 18s 3d, 18s 9d, 19s 3d, 20s Id, 20s 6d to 21s 9d; forward two-tooth wethers, 21s lOd to 225; two-tooth ewes, 27s Od ; five-year ewes, 14s 8d to 15s 3d ; four-tooth ewes, 295; m.a. ewes, 24s 3d; s.m. ewes, 11s lOd to 12s 3d. Store cattle: Wearier heifers, £2 Is; forward cows, £2 ss, £2 17s to £3 2s 6d ; 18-months P.A. Hereford steers, £2 11s to £3 19s ; two-year P.A. heifers, £4 ss; three-year Holstein steers, £7 7s ; P.A. bulls, £5 5s ; potter bulls, £1 5s to £4 17s 6d. Fat cattle: Jersev cows, £3 10s, £3 17s, £4, £4 10s, £4 15s to £5. Dairy cattle: Springing cows, £6.
