At yesterday's Agricultural Show in Woodville, Messrs W. Barrett and Son were responsible for an interesting motor display of new Alorris cars. The attractiveness of the various models created quite a lot of comment, and during the day Air Barrett and his son were kept busy demonstrating and answering inquiries made by interested farmers. The models were indeed attractive and featured the very latest in leather upholstery work, a dozen and cue utility advantages and embraced the last word in genuine workmanship.

The railway department announces having arranged an excursion to Waitomc Caves from the Wairarapa on loth-16th February, leaving Cross Creek 9.10 p.m., Featherston 928 Woodside 9.38 p.m. Eketahunn 11.4 p.m., Pahiatua 11.39 p.m.. Woodville 12.9 (16th) Palmerston North 1.8 a.m. (16th). and returning leaving Hangatiki 7.20 p.m. on the Sunday The fares are obtainable to all stations at which the train stops on route and are at less than $d per mile and seats are. reserved free. The fare to Waitomo Caves comprises rail fare, motor transport between Hangatiki and the Caves, and guide’s fees for the three Caves. Tickets for meals at the hostel may also bo purchased with rail ticket, and only excursionists holding meal tickets can. secure meals at the hostel: furthermore the number is limited.
