An economic reconstruction with the establishment, of a social credit plan for revision of taxation, and a regime of rigid economy in Government expenditures, are the objectives of the Alberta Government, a* set out in the speech from the Throne. “A measure leading to the formulation and adoption of a plan based upon principles of social credit will he submitted for your consideration. • it was- stated, adding that Major Douglas would no doubt be used to. advance the introduction and establishment of social credit principles within the province.
