RUGBY DELEGATIONS
INTERNATIONAL TOURS AR RANGED.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Teleg 1-a ph —< -opvri eht. FREMANTLE February 5. Having attended the Imperial Rugby Conference in London. Mr S. Si. Dean, chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Rimby Union. Mr J. PrendeviJle, chairman of the Wellington Rugby Union's management committee, and Air H Holden, of the New South V\ ales Rugby Union, arrived bv the Oroutes. In a joint interview thev said that as a result of the conference the Dominions would, through the Rugbv Football Union (England), have, a greater voice in the framing of the laws of the game. The constitution of a special constitution and laws committee had been approved by the conference. Australia’s request for amendment to the kick-in to-touch rule was sure to be approved bv the Home authorities. They added that there should be i:;r better understanding and greater harmony in the management, control ami playing of the game as a result of' the conference, which was the first at which all the Dominions were represented. The delegates stated that a programme of international matches had been tentatively arranged for confirmation bv the respective unions as follows: Australia visits New Zealand this year. South Africa visits Australia and New Zealand in 1937 Britain vi-its South Africa in These tours are definitely fixed. Other tours proposed are: 1939, Australia to Britain; 1940. Now Zealand to South Africa: 19 12. Britain to Australia and New Zealand; 1913, South Africa to Britain; 1947. New Zealand to Britain.
