The Sun-Herald, in a message says that the Government is expediting and extending The production oi gas masks in, the Lope that between 30 and 40 million will soon be manufactured and stored in depots in. every town and village for quick distribution in the event of emergency. It is anticipated that by the end of the year an organisation will be completed throughout Britain designed to deal with, gas casualties. The Government meanwhile has acquired country house grounds for anti-gas schools for training a special corps of instructors who will be drafted to all parts of the country toteach official bodies besides the voluntary workers. Other plans include the preparation for a sudden expansion of hospital accommodation and arranging first aid posts in towns and villages. These precautions are ccai with the Governments great re-arm-ament defence scheme.
