It is Grade at the very top of her rm, i tm ail remember how you screamed at her previous pictures: “Salic m S*? Ai 1 ey,'' “Looking on the Bright This Week of Grace. Dove, Liie and Daughter." and “Snig as we Go.” Well, even those laughter-laden efforts pale into in.ogmficancc alongside the hilaritv ot this uproarious comedy. This time Urracie is a theatrical star who returns to her home in Lancashire alter a successful tour abroad to find her brother and lather in distressing circumstances. They eke out their livelihood by selling wares in the local market 4ml even this small pittance is threatened bv a Wealthy department-store owner who is using his influence to have the market closed. But Graeie has no intention of taking this lying down and so in her irresponsible and original manner she gets to work to prevent it. This is where the real Dm begins The big climax arrives when an old print-seller shows Grsu-ie an Old volume proving that the market has a charter granted bv the 1 ro J vn * , U ls necessary to not to Uo.ulon and place tlie document k tore the highest legal authorities. In order to do this Oracle sets off in a plane but her sole companion is the print-seller and not. as she supposes, the pilot. He knows as mn,h about piloting a ’plane as Graeie does and that, is nothing. Thus the laughter lady ok tlie land becomes the scream of the skits. It's a riot of happiness.
