Owing to the unsettled weather last week fewer competition games
were played on the Pahiatua green than usual. Results of games played to date are:
Senior pairs: Raw son and Walker 13 lost to Russell and Hunter 26: Gregory and Kershaw 29 defeated Bisset and Petersen 9; Bisset and Petersen 27 defeated Russell and Hunter 20 ; Alii Is and Bovens 22 defeated Clarke and Carrad 17. • Junior pairs: Royens and Meade 24 defeated Scott and Fouliy 19, Chinery and Goer 24 defeated Oxley and Davey 17 ; Chinery and Goer 20 lost to Fouhy and Scott 21. Senior singles: Walker 2<> defeated Siddells 13. Walker 26 defeated Lett 14.
Junior singles: Grantham 19 defeated Tattle 18: Chinery 24 defeated C. Wright 13. On Wednesday, February 5. the following rinks from the Pahiatua club will play at Eketahuna for the Oxley Cup: PTlkinton, Carrad. Mill's and Hodd (s) • Murphy, L. Chatwin, E. Lett and Walker (s).
