BRITISH PAR LI AMEN I. {.British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. January 30. Parliament reassembles on Tuesday. Yesterday’s meeting oi Cabinet discussed the programme before the House of Commons and reviewed the international' situation. The first business of Parliament will be t-o receive a message of thanks from King Edward tor the address oi condolence and congratulations which the douse voted last week and which wa* presented to his Majesty by Privy Councillors on Monday. Shortly after Parliament resumes steps will be taken towards an Act making renewed provision for the Civil List following the Death of King George. The constitutional procedure is that the House of Commons receives a message from the King placing at the disposal of the State certain heretidary revenues which attach to the Crown. The Government wifi ask the House to aj>point a Select Committee to report on the Civil List. Its recommendations will in du<> course form the basis of a Bill.
