VARSITY SIDE ON TOP AGAIN
TOKIO, January 30. Tho All Black varsity team defeated Keitt University by 2-3 to 6 in a last, open and exciting game before a large crowd. The forwards were beaten in the scrums, but were very effective ill passing and dribbling rushes. 'l’lie team was: Trieklebank. Grant, Bush, Jones, Wild, Gillies, McAuliff, Carey. Burke, Thomas, Chapman, Hudson, Drake, Simmers, Stace. The scorers were :Bush (2). Jones (2), Chapman, Grant, Gillies and Bush (.converted). Several members are suffering From minor illnesses but it is hoped they will soon be available for the harder games to come. Ihe team is being most hospitably entertained by prominent men, including the Alinister or Education, the Mayor ol M'okio, and the Rotary (lub. Every minute is fully occupied in a most interesting milliner. Ihe team is receiving an enthusiastic reception from the Press on all sides.
